Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems are currently trending in Twitter following their arrest in Uganda for spuring COVID-19 rules.

This has called the attention of other Nigerian artists influencers and of course their fans.
The pair where arrested yesterday December 13 with their managers for holding and illegal concert at Djungu resort in Munyonyo where they assembled big crowds despite the President's order on the prevention and spread of COVID-19.
Today, Omah Lay and Tems were arraigned before the court in Kampala and remanded in different prisons till Wednesday, December 16.
Nigerian celebrities including Burna Boy, Runtown, Tacha, Mr Macaroni, Teni, Fireboy among others have taken to their social media accounts to call for the quick release of both Omay Lay and Tems.
