Argentine football legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60 following a heart attack at his Buenos Aires home.
He had a successful surgery on a brain clot earlier this November and was to be treated for alcohol dependency.

Maradona was the captain when Argentina won 1986 World Cup, scoring against England in the quarter finals. He scored 34 goals in 91 appearances for Argentina, representing them in 4 World Cups.
Argentina and Barcelona forward paid a tribute to him saying he was "eternal".
"A very sad day for all Argentines and football" said Messi " He lives us but does not leave, because Diego is eternal.
